Two quarts of fluid with a detergent additive, then two quarts of fluid with seal conditioning additives are flushed through the system. Dispelling almost all of the old fluid.
It won't guarantee you won't have any power steering leaks, but it could help delay them coming and/or their severeness.
We use the "Wynn's" brand name product and are the only shop in town that uses the extra large flush kit!

Flush and replace 100% of brake fluid in regular braking system. We use premium Dot 4 brake fluid. For most cars, this will also get out the fluid in the ABS system as well. Honda recommends doing this every 3 years.

If your transmission is shifting abnormally. We will take it for a drive, read codes, check the fluid, then let you know what we think. Actual diagnosis charge will range from $0 to $75, if it is complicated, more labor time may be required to diagnose, but we would let you know.
Actual cost for diagnosis will be $20 to $100. If we just need to put it up in the air and the leak is obvious, its $20. If there are multiple leaks and/or oil coating the powertrain and it is not obvious, we will likely do a "leak powder test", which would be $100. This would generally include steam cleaning, blow drying, then spraying a special white powder on suspected areas. We then run the car in the air on the Iift for 15+ minutes at an elevated engine speed to boost oil pressure and help identify leak using the powder.
