Does your car have a few things going on with it you want to get figured out? Want to also know of anything else of concern? With this job we will figure out a few "not too complicated" items and also drive your car, put it in the air and look for anything else that catches our eye or for anything related to what we noticed on our test drive. We will also scan it for codes if you have any warning lights/messages. If any further diagnostics are needed, we will advise on that. Two quarts of fluid with a detergent additive, then two quarts of fluid with seal conditioning additives are flushed through the system. Dispelling almost all of the old fluid.
It won't guarantee you won't have any power steering leaks, but it could help delay them coming and/or their severeness.
We use the "Wynn's" brand name product and are the only shop in town that uses the extra large flush kit!

Flush and replace 100% of brake fluid in regular braking system. We use premium Dot 4 brake fluid. For most cars, this will also get out the fluid in the ABS system as well. Honda recommends doing this every 3 years.

We will drive it before alignment, adjust "TOE" on all four wheels. Camber adjustment, which is not adjustable on most cars, and subframe shifting to adjust Caster is typically an additional $55, but not commonly needed.

You can just come by and we will read the code stored in your car's main computer. Once we know the code, we will reset the light and give you advise on what to do next. This does not include any actual diagnosis, just reading the code. Diagnosis may be an additional charge, but we will discuss that after reading the code and seeing what it is.
Do you have a bunch of warning lights and/or messages coming up in the info display in your gauge cluster? We will scan all the computers with one of our fancier scan tools and printout the results. Usually there is just an issue in one system triggering all the messages and lights as systems are intertwined. Once we figure out the root code, we will either know right away what the issue is from past experience, or we will offer further diagnosis.

If your transmission is shifting abnormally. We will take it for a drive, read codes, check the fluid, then let you know what we think. Actual diagnosis charge will range from $0 to $75, if it is complicated, more labor time may be required to diagnose, but we would let you know.
Actual cost for diagnosis will be $20 to $100. If we just need to put it up in the air and the leak is obvious, its $20. If there are multiple leaks and/or oil coating the powertrain and it is not obvious, we will likely do a "leak powder test", which would be $100. This would generally include steam cleaning, blow drying, then spraying a special white powder on suspected areas. We then run the car in the air on the Iift for 15+ minutes at an elevated engine speed to boost oil pressure and help identify leak using the powder.
If your car is overheating or running warmer than usual on your temp gauge, this is the service for you.

We will drive your car a few miles, even on the freeway if needed. If you have a noise or vibration or something else we will have to experience in a test drive to give our opinion on, this is a good place to start.
