Adjust all valves after cooling engine down to below 100 degrees. Replace valve cover gasket(s). Honda calls for this service around 100-110k miles.

Do we recommend going 20k miles?  No.
As a default, we will do the windshield sticker just like we normally do.

EXPRESS SERVICE (PREMIUM)

Up to $150+ worth of service. All of what you get in the Express oil change, plus some extra love. A great choice for the person that wants a bit more thoroughness at their oil change intervals with an emphasis on safety.  This is our best recommendation for everyone, for every oil change interval.

Express oil change stuff, PLUS:
Brake inspection (includes measuring pads and rotor thickness)
Safety inspection (checking ball joints and steering components for wear)
Obvious major concern inspection (tech will look for anything obvious and concerning)

REPLACE SPARK PLUGS (MAINT CODE 4)*

Do you have a bunch of warning lights and/or messages coming up in the info display in your gauge cluster? We will scan all the computers with one of our fancier scan tools and printout the results. Usually there is just an issue in one system triggering all the messages and lights as systems are intertwined. Once we figure out the root code, we will either know right away what the issue is from past experience, or we will offer further diagnosis.

MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS (ALL DTC SCAN)

We will drive your car a few miles, even on the freeway if needed.  If you have a noise or vibration or something else we will have to experience in a test drive to give our opinion on, this is a good place to start. If you are doing a signature service or inspection, don't book this service too, a test drive is already included.  PLEASE PUT YOUR CONCERN IN THE NOTES SECTION.

Same as the regular signature service but we would use premium synthetic extended mileage oil.

HEADLIGHT RESURFACE

FOR NEWER CARS (Approx 2015 model year give or take). This service takes much longer. It is designed for cars with "direct fuel injection".  If your engine says "EARTH DREAMS" on top of it, then this is the right one for you. We use a premium kit made by Wynn's for this service.  We will use three different chemicals, introduced into your engine in three different ways. EXPRESS PLUS SERVICE (PREMIUM)

Does your car have a few things going on with it you want to get figured out? Want to also know of anything else of concern? With this job we will figure out a few "not too complicated" items and also drive your car, put it in the air and look for anything else that catches our eye or for anything related to what we noticed on our test drive. We will also scan it for codes if you have any warning lights/messages. If any further diagnostics are needed, we will advise on that. TELL US YOUR CONCERNS IN THE NOTES SECTION WHEN FINALIZING THIS APPT. This service will be done by a diagnostic tech or master tech.

LEVEL 2 DIAGNOSTIC (DROP OFF FOR THE DAY ONLY)

Actual cost for diagnosis will be $20 to $100.  If we just need to put it up in the air and the leak is obvious, its $20.  If there are multiple leaks and/or oil coating the powertrain and it is not obvious, we will likely do a "leak powder test", which would be $100. This would generally include steam cleaning, blow drying, then spraying a special white powder on suspected areas.  We then run the car in the air on the Iift for 15+ minutes at an elevated engine speed to boost oil pressure and help identify leak using the powder.

DIAGNOSE AN OIL LEAK

Can be anything you perceive as an electrical problem.

Replace needed High or Low beam bulb.  This price does not apply to Xenon bulbs(the really bright kind that are blue when first turned on).  

Not a bad idea to request replacing both bulbs at once as they tend to have a similar life span left and right.  $50 to do both (note it in comments section if you want both).

REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB

FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

WE HAVE THE MOST ADVANCED ALIGNMENT EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE AS OF 2024

* We prefer that you drop off your car for the day for an alignment, as sometimes things have to be re-adjusted, but you can WAIT on it, please just know that in some cases it can take more than an hour.

We will drive it before alignment, adjust "TOE" on all four wheels.  Camber adjustment, which is not adjustable on most cars, and subframe shifting to adjust Caster is typically an additional $55, but not commonly needed.

Is your steering wheel not "centered" or does your car veer to the left or the right when you let go of the steering wheel on a level road?  Did you just get new tires and want to make sure they don't wear prematurely? Have you not had an alignment in several years?  Yes to any or all of these questions and you probably could use an alignment.



If your car is lowered ALOT, we may not be able to get it on our alignment rack.  Expect S2000 or NSX to be up to $110 more to align as they have many more adjustment points.

ALIGNMENT

Two quarts of fluid with a detergent additive, then two quarts of fluid with seal conditioning additives are flushed through the system. Dispelling almost all of the old fluid.    

It won't guarantee you won't have any power steering leaks, but it could help delay them coming and/or their severeness.

We use the "Wynn's" brand name product and are the only shop in town that uses the extra large flush kit!

FULL POWER STEERING FLUSH

This is basically a 15,000 mile service.

AC DIAGNOSTIC

Flush and replace 100% of brake fluid in regular braking system.  We use premium Dot 4 brake fluid. For most cars, this will also get out the fluid in the ABS system as well.  Honda recommends doing this every 3 years.

FULL BRAKE FLUID FLUSH (MAINT CODE 7)

1 HOUR OF SHOP TIME

If your car is overheating or running warmer than usual on your temp gauge, this is the service for you.

Please don't keep driving your car with it overheating as it may cause more serious damage.  

At this price, we would do a visual check, pressure test, test drive.

There is a chance that further testing will be required at an additional cost, but we will let you know.  Diagnostic charge may or may not apply towards repair.

COOLING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

Most cars $29, some are $39.

Replace between 15k and 30k miles.

We will advise what the code(s) mean and advise you if further diagnosis is needed or what the problem is if it is a common code.

Its the Red light that either says "SRS" or just has a picture of a person with a ball in front of them.  

This does not include any actual diagnosis, rather just reading the code.  We may need to do additional diagnosis, which we will give you an estimate for once we see what the code is.

Drain and Refill the Rear Differential with the Genuine Honda fluid specified for your car.  This could be Dual pump fluid, VTM4 fluid or DPSF fluid.

We use a premium blue high mileage coolant.

This is the blue liquid circulating through the engine, not to be confused with Refrigerant, which is for the Air Conditioning.
